Celebrating
Steam Crew and #14 Volunteers
In recognition and appreciation
of the volunteers who assisted, helped and otherwise supported
the restoration of the 1913 Baldwin Steam Locomotive #14, a special
commemorative journey is planned for Sunday, January
2nd, 2011.
Join approximately 50,
steam volunteers and their families as passengers on this special
train ride. Enjoy a leisurely trip aboard the Fillmore &
Western Railway dining and coach cars as you rub elbows and swap
stories with the dedicated "steam team". Lunch will
be served, steam stories will be told and there will be many
opportunities for photo-ops and run-bys during the scheduled
stop. Seating is limited to 60 general public passengers so don't
delay purchasing your tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
to mix and mingle with the "#14 volunteers and crew members".
The train will depart
downtown Fillmore's Central Park at 12noon and will return after
all the photo-ops, drive-bys and stories have been swapped, but
sometime before dark.
Tickets for all ages are $75 per person and can be purchased
by calling 805-524-2546.
All aboard for railfun with the steamteam.
